I am a graduate of Texas State University with Bachelors degrees in Applied Sociology and Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement. My passions lie in working with those who have been victims of crimes and I plan to work in the victim services sector in the future. I am most interested in working with refugees and victims of human trafficking. I have worked with the courts with prosecutors in Hays County, providing me with experience in the legal sector. I have held leadership positions with organizations such as the Red Cross of Houston and interned in Ghana for an NGO that specializes in providing former child laborers the opportunity of recieving an education. My experience has allowed me to strengthen my research and data analysis skills through work with qualitative interviews and to work towards the provision of basic human rights for people around the world.
